Dhwani will set up an Institution with the goal of producing devoted percussionists who will have an exposure to both North and South Indian music traditions and have a total musical concept in respect of vocal, instrumental and dance.

It will organize seminars and workshops on music with special emphasis on percussion and rhythm. Apart from the big cities, it will try to reach the people of smaller cities and villages to create an appreciative audience and interest about our classical music tradition.  

It will find out talented percussionists, teach them and encourage the needy ones by giving financial support, scholarships and help them establishing themselves in the field of music.

It will go to the school level to give the young students a first hand experience and impression about the richness of our music, rhythm and percussion and create interest amongst the future generations of our society about this subject.

In this process it will also reach the mentally and physically handicapped children to help them enjoy life through the beats of rhythm.

Dhwani will also explore the traditional folk music especially in the field of percussion and rhythm and bring them into the notice of the world.

It will set up a multimedia library where books, recordings will be available for the students at a nominal charge.

Dhwani will arrange seminars and workshops of world music especially in the field of percussion to make the students acquainted with the recent trend of music. It will also set up institutions outside India and will involve itself in student exchange programmes.

It will organize concerts and produce and publish recordings and books related to mainly percussion music and will set up its own studio for research work.
